This image was captured in the small town of Georgetown, Colorado about an hour or so north of Denver. Walking through this charming town was like taking a step back in time. When I came across this closed museum I decided to use the tin type app on my iphone to create a sense of nostalgia in this former mining town.
This image is one of my new favorites. Captured just last week at Pearl Lake in Northern Colorado, it invites you into its summer warmth. I hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing summer so far…..

Today’s photo of the day comes from Philadelphia and the remains of a building I came across in the northern liberties section of town. It seems appropriate for the times with all the nonsensical talk of a wall along our borders allegedly being constructed at some point and the gall and absurdity of demanding a foreign country to pay for it.
